Basic Module
Our well established Image Data Base is a modular package depending on the requirements of the user. In its standard format, it contains a series of high end features including a powerful import and export function, intuitive and standardised operating steps, options for Microsoft Office integration, support for numerous file formats, image comparison, labelling, calibration and scaling. The package also includes direct-print functions, batch imaging and high-convenience drag-and-drop functionality to transfer images to third-party applications.
Image Acquisition
The Image Acquisition module allows to connect a host of image capture sources to the Image Data Base - from simple analogue video cameras (b/w, colour), scanners and digital cameras all the way to high-resolution digital microscope cameras, scanning electron microscopes and even X-ray machines. We offer special acquisition modules so that you only have to budget for the support option that you actually need.
Image Processing
With this module, there are different processing tools which can be integrated: A module for two dimensional measurements such as linear, surface, circle fit and angle measurements, grids, counting and computing operations as well as labelling and scaling bars. This module includes the powerful ‘Panorama’ module – one of the fastest and most advanced image stitching modules available. To further enhance this module, we include the equally powerful ‘sharpness reconstruction module’ enabling full ‘in focus’ reconstructions to be made from Z-sections! Also included in this key module is a series of image manipulation tools enabling functions such as brightness, contrast, colour saturation, even fast Fourier transforms to be performed. A metal sections module for comparing materialographic samples through a microscope is also available in this module.
Image Analysis
This module contains a series of modules for specialist analysis, including area detection, grain size and particle counting. This module also includes processes for performing analysis of cleanliness, coating thicknesses and cast iron microstructures.
Documentation
The export and one-click auto reporting of database information directly into popular ‘Office’ software packages is available with this powerful module. It also allows complete integration of the software package to e-mail servers and enables web server databasing.
