This microscope system was developed initially for use in the semiconductor industry for board and assembly control. Whilst it is still widely used in this industry, it is also equally as popular in forensic applications where very high resolution comparison images are required. Through simultaneous comparison of two images, it is possible to easily detect differences between the ‘reference’ image and the comparison image. Our comparison system ships with two analogue cameras and two LCD-screens. Digital Versions with picture overlay or software enhancements are also possible.
