The Micro Bore Inspector System is designed to enable acurate, high resolution inspection of small bores down to 0.1 mm in diameter. It is widely used for the testing of boards and other thin samples and is designed to be positioned directly onto the board surface. Through a unique tilting mechanism, it is possible to angle the optical system in order to very accurately inspect bore walls. Fine positioning is achieved by an integrated x/y device. For maximum control, a precision focusing device is integrated into the optical system. The adjustable LED-Illumination offers a bright but glare-free light for maximum imaging contrast.
